Dunning Kruger University first opened its doors in March 2025 after the administration eliminated the people who would have probably stopped us.
The campus was awash in the university’s signature teal and gold as students, faculty, and staff gathered for a day of welcome and excitement.
The festivities began with a spirited convocation ceremony, where the university president addressed the incoming class, emphasizing the importance of intellectual curiosity and a commitment to lifelong learning. The keynote speaker, a renowned alumnus, shared inspiring stories of their time at DKU and offered words of wisdom to the new students.
Following the convocation, the campus transformed into a lively hub of activity. Student organizations hosted information booths, showcasing their diverse interests and welcoming new members. Music filled the air as students enjoyed performances by the university band and choir. Food trucks lined the walkways, offering a variety of culinary delights.
The highlight of the day was the traditional “DKU Dash,” a spirited race around the campus perimeter that saw students, faculty, and staff cheering on participants. The event underscored the sense of community and camaraderie that defines DKU.
As the day drew to a close, a palpable sense of excitement and anticipation hung in the air. The new class of students, brimming with enthusiasm and eager to embark on their academic journeys, were ready to make their mark on Dunning-Kruger University.
